The newest Royal Caribbean ship Symphony of the Seas concluded its latest sea trails on February 18th. During the four-day sea trials, the new ship travel over 1,000 nautical miles during the 80 hours voyage. The ship is in the final stages of completion and is scheduled to be delivered to Royal Caribbean late March.
According to STX France, the shipbuilder, all performance goals were completed as schedule. The ships systems are being adjusted and verified by STX France, Royal Caribbean and other officials. The ship will undergo additional sea trails in the coming weeks before the ship is delivered for service.
